Syquest Technology Inc., maker of the popular line of removable storage known as zip cartridges recently held a huge, "Silicon Valley" style party in Fremont, California. Those in attendence say it was definitly a party to remember.
"Who's Number Onnnnnne?!?" shouted a completely sloshed sales rep Trevor McNight. Throwing his arm around his manager, he and the rest of the room toasted what they called "A Night To Celebrate Our Number One-Hood."
Amid live swing bands, fresh seafood and champagne for all, employees took a moment from their long hours at what will soon be the world's largest maker of removable media to party hard. An inflatable velcro wall, a dunking booth, and other party fun was had by all.

"I got one thing to say, Utah. You should NOT even of messed with us here in Silicon Valley. Woooo!" cried one party attendee, in a clear stab at Syquest's main "competitor", Iomega.
Future Bright For Already Bright Company.
"Ohh man, oooh man!" gawked Trevor McNight after the company's CEO's enthusiastic speech. "I used to be in law school and stuff, ready to do the whole lawyer thing. Then a pal told me about this great company in Silicon Valley. He said: 'Hey, if you think it's big now, wait 5 years. It's gonna be huge! Want in on the action?' I left college, got a job here as a product tester, then moved up to sales rep. Now I'm sitting on 100,000 shares that I'll be able to sell in just 4 years. I'm gonna be a millionaire!"
Trevor believes the key to Syquest's growth will be to maintain it's huge profit margin. "It'll be easy, because we really don't have anyone else coming after our market share. It's like we like to say: We have some competitors, but no competition."
